You can now enjoy your favourite Spring rolls without Maida. Yeah! You heard that right. We bring you a super delicious recipe which is very easy to make and definitely a healthier choice.

Ingredients –

Stuffing-

1. Oil – 1 tbsp

2. Ginger – 1 tsp

3. Garlic – 1 tsp

4. Finely chopped veggies of your choice or –

Cauliflower – 1 and 1/2 cup

Carrots – 1 cup

Spring onion – 1 cup

Capsicum – 1 cup

Mushroom – 1 cup

5. Paneer/Tofu – 1 cup

6. Salt – 1 tsp

7. Pepper powder – 3/4 tsp

8. Soy sauce – 1 and 1/2 tbsp

Dipping Sauce-

1. Soy sauce – 2 tbsp

2. Sweet chilli sauce – 4 tbsp

3. Chilli oil – 1 tbsp

4. Spring onion – 2 tbsp

5. Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp

Method to prepare –

Step1 – Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add ginger and garlic. Sauté for a few secs. Now add all the vegetables and sauté for another 2 mins.

Step2 – Add paneer/tofu, salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Mix and cook for a minute. Turn off the flame and let the filling cool down.

Step3 – Now, dip a rice sheet in warm water for 5 seconds and place it on a clean towel or oil surface. Add a spoon of the filling mixture in the centre of the sheet in a rectangle shape.

Step4 – Next, fold both the sides of the sheet, and then starting from the top, fold over the rice sheet to cover the filling and roll it until the end. So, you will be left with a square/rectangle shape roll.

Step5 – Repeat the same step for more rice sheets to make rolls and place the prepared spring roll in an oil greased plate. Make sure the rolls don’t touch each other or else they will stick together and might tear.

Step6 – Heat oil in a pan and place the rolls carefully separated from each other. Pan fry them till golden brown. You can also air fry the spring rolls by greasing them with oil at 400 degrees for 14 minutes.
