Delicious and nutritious vermicelli upma ready to feed the hungry monsters in your stomach😉
Ingredients –
1. Jvapa Rice Vermicelli – 1 cup (150 gm)
2. Finely chopped veggies –
- Capsicum – 1
- Carrot – 1
- Tomatoes – 2
- Cauliflower – 1/2 cup
3. Baby Corn – 4
4. Green coriander – 3 to 4 tbsp (finely chopped)
5. Green Peas – 1/2 cup
6. Butter – 2 tbsp
7. Pasta Sauce – 2 tbsp (if not available, can use ketch and chilli sauce also)
8. Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)
9. Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
10. Ginger paste – 1 tsp
11. Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
Method to prepare –
Step 1 – Take Jvapa rice vermicelli, roast it (optional). Boil 2 cups of water in a vessel and add vermicelli to the water. Boil till it softens.
Step 2 – To cook the veggies, put butter in a pan, add ginger paste with finely chopped green chilli.
Step 3 – Add carrots and baby corn, stir and cook well on high flame for 1 minute. Next, add cauliflower, green peas and capsicum. Cook the veggies for 3 minutes.
Step 4 – Add tomatoes and roast slightly. Once everything is cooked, add pasta sauce, chaat masala, salt and stir well.
Step 5 – Now add the vermicelli to the prepared veggies with a little green coriander, mix all ingredients till they blend well. Reduce the flame, stir well and cook for 2 minutes.Serve Hot! Enjoy 😊
